Breaths of Life in my Everyday

Smell of clothes hung outside to dry.

Early morning sounds in a quiet house made by my husband.

Baby feet. Love to touch and kiss these.

Smell and taste of freshly ground coffee.

The feel of bread dough in the palms of my hand.

The smell of bread dough while kneading and while baking.

A clean kitchen counter top.

Smell of wood smoke from a wood stove.

Comfortable clothes.

The unique faces of each of my children and grand children.

Freshly washed hair.......

Lots and lots more for a another day.

George MacDonald

Reading a book from my favorite of all time author George MacDonald. About 15+ years ago I read Sir Gibbie and was hooked. He paints wonderful mental pictures and wraps me up in each page. At present I am reading The Portent. Next on my list is his last novel, published in 1897 "Salted with Fire". If you haven't met him please let me introduce you to my friend George. My Indoor Clothes Line

My in the basement, by the woodstove clothes line. One of my most gratifying, enjoyable home "chores". To hang clothes "out" by the woodstove.
