On the Seventy-First Day of Summer

Today I worked until 5:30.
Introduced myself to a new neighbor. I like her. Her daughter's name is Olive.
Sit with my husband in the back yard. Flowers and woods all around, we chat about the day.
Mosquitoes all around us and dinner time calls us into the house
Fresh tomato sandwiches and left over pasta salad fill our bellies.
Phone call to a friend which turns into over an hour.
Getting dark.  David goes to bed.
I stay up for awhile.
My eyes are getting heavy. Think I will call it a night.
Thankful for a bed and safety for a good nights sleep.
