Air Dried ~Sun Kissed Scarves

Such a wonderful day full of sun and a slight breeze. I decided to wash all my scarves and hang them on the line.  The winter ones got packed away all clean and fresh.  I enjoyed seeing the colors and textures sway and billow  in the breeze.  The sight beckoned to be photographed.

I so very much enjoy my backyard clothes line

Rugs Drying in the Sun

It was a productive, beautiful, warm Thursday. Washed several throw rugs and hung them out to dry.  While the rugs and clothes were drying outside, I made a batch of yogurt inside. Then dove into cleaning out old pictures and papers. I still have piles but some what organized.  A happy Thursday.

Jesus is a Good "Drawer"

Grandson Malachi ...Looking at the pedal of an Iris... informed me with a voice full excitement and much confidence that.." Jesus drew the lines."  "He is a good drawer".

He pulled off a petal to bring in the house. I showed Malachi this picture. He reaffirmed that.. "He IS a GOOD DRAWER...JUST LIKE THAT!"

Our county library had their annual  three day book sale in the mall.  They give out bags for the last hours on the last day of the sale. Stuff as many books as you can for $1.00 a bag.  I packed two bags with 26 books.  Some of the books are to share with a son who has no TV or internet at his apartment.  Here are some pictures of the finds! Some of the books we already had. Just couldn't pass up another Deaf Smith Country Cookbook or Living More With Less book.  May give these to a daughter or friend.

Spring Evening in the Backyard

Last evening was spring perfect.  Slight breeze, clear blue sky, mild temperature and at home.
Here are some of our backyard scenes from the evening.
