A Day With Kirby

We cleaned out closets. We downsized Kirby's wardrobe. We laughed. We giggled. We enjoyed much conversation. We shared a simple tasty lunch. We stilled ourselves awhile just to talk. We cleaned some more. Friends stop by for a quick hello. We called David to come over to hang a huge picture. Kirby clapped with delight as we stepped back to assess David's picture hanging skills. The three of us sat for a bit longer looking at the picture, enjoying conversation and just being together. Hugs and love. It's getting late.
All a wonderful day.

It's Been Awhile~ Watchman Nee

Back in the 70's I read a few books from Watchman Nee. We have a few in storage waiting for the  bookshelves in the new home. I came across some Watchman books at the Salvation Army in West Jefferson.. Just couldn't pass up the privilege and  the deal. Cream on the cake..... Finding this George MacDonald. Surprised by the Lord.

Yep. You saw that right. 10 cents.
