The Moon and Coffee

My heart aches for this world. I weep but have hope. I hope- because I know, that I know, that I know the Very One that flung the stars holds each moment just as He holds each star and grain of sand. I have to go to that place of rest or all the heart aches, hurts, chaos, dissonance is like a piercing pain inside my insides. So today. I will pray. I will work with my hands. Like the lines in this Jason Isbell song, "Maybe time running out is a gift, I'll work hard 'til the end of my shift"

The moon peeking in at me this morning as I drink coffee and pray.
